At Thurloe Street Dental, we’re committed to providing high-quality care and ensuring appointment availability for all our patients. To help us do this, we kindly ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason.
Appointments up to 60 minutes
We require at least 24 working hours’ notice.
Appointments over 60 minutes
We require at least 48 working hours’ notice.
Please note: Working hours refer to our standard opening times and do not include weekends or public holidays.
Late cancellations or missed appointments incur a charge, as the clinician and the nurse’s time has been reserved specially for you.
If you need to make changes to your appointment, please contact us as early as possible by phone on 020 7584 5551 — our team will be happy to assist you.
If the required notice period is not provided, a fee will apply to help cover the cost of the reserved clinical time:
Dental appointments: £150 per 30 minutes
Hygiene appointments: £145 per session
This fee also applies to missed appointments without notice (“no-shows”).
We understand that sometimes emergencies and unexpected situations can arise. In cases of extenuating circumstances, we will always do our best to take a compassionate and fair approach.
If you believe your situation warrants special consideration, please let us know as soon as possible. We may ask for supporting evidence (e.g. a medical note or relevant documentation) before waiving any fees.
